If you’ve been out around town recently, you may have noticed new signs popping up in parks and public spaces across Sea Girt. These signs are designed to make it easier for residents and visitors to see the impact of local conservation efforts—and learn more about the natural environment that makes Sea Girt special.
“Our new signs now identify where your donations have helped improve the local landscape and environment,” said Tom Trivella, Treasurer of the Sea Girt Conservancy. “Look for them around town.”
Many of the signs highlight specific projects the Conservancy has supported, helping connect community investment directly to visible improvements throughout Sea Girt. Others label New Jersey native plants, giving walkers and visitors a better understanding of the local ecosystem.
Some signs include a scannable code that links to additional information about the featured project or plant species, making it easy to learn more while exploring the area.
Next time you’re out for a walk, keep an eye out for the new signs—and take a moment to explore what they reveal about Sea Girt’s landscape and conservation efforts.
