The SGC received the Environmental Achievement award from the Association of NJ Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) in 2023. This was in recognition of the work to restore a portion of Edgemere Park and construct a pollinator garden.

The Monmouth County Planning Board has recognized the Sea Girt Conservancy for our efforts to take back Edgemere Park and restore it with native plants.
