The Sea Girt Conservancy hosted a Celebrate Your Environment- Family Fun Day on September 24th, 2022. The event was a great success with arts and crafts for the kids, and an opportunity for adults to learn about lantern fly traps. Thank you to everyone who came out!

July 9th, 2022: Waterfront Cocktails Event

The Sea Girt Conservancy hosted their second annual Waterfront Cocktails event on Saturday, July 9th 2022. It was a great time with great drinks, food, and people! Thank you to all of those who came out to support us!

April 29th, 2022: Crescent Park Tree Planting Event

Thank you to everyone who came to participate in the Crescent Park Tree plantings! We had a great turnout, and were able to plant several trees!

April 20th, 2022: Bike Path Celebration

The Sea Girt Conservancy held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Bell Place Bike Path on April 20th, 2022! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us!

September 25th, 2021: Wreck Pond Clean Up

Our volunteer clean up effort was a success! It was held on September 25, 2021 at Wreck Pond and Route 71. Volunteers came out from Spring Lake Heights, Brielle, and Sea Girt Estates. Thanks to all who came out and helped! #keepseagirtgreen #seagirtconservancy

August 21st, 2021: Library Cleanup

The Sea Girt Conservancy did great work on August 21, 2021 at the green space by the library. Weeds were pulled and new mulch was applied. Thanks to our team! #keepseagirtgreen.

July 24th, 2021: First annual Cocktails on the Ocean

Our first annual “Cocktails on the Ocean” soiree was a ‘sold out‘ success! The event took place on Saturday, July 24th 2021 at a private oceanside residence. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served along with live entertainment. This fundraiser helps to support the Sea Girt Conservancy’s projects in Edgemere & Crescent Parks.

Open House at Edgemere Park

Held on October 26th 2019

This Open House was put on by Councilwoman Diane Anthony. It was a community event that apprised Sea Girt Residents on the work that is being done to remove invasive plants and showcase the history of this beautiful park.

Mike Matthews, a member of the Sea Girt Conservancy, provided a guided tour to the board on June 29th, 2020. Mike is an expert on Weed Science and is also a past member of the Sea Girt Shade Tree Commission.
