Spring is here, and so is a great reason to visit Edgemere Park. The Sea Girt Conservancy is hosting an Open House and tour of our Pollinator Garden on Sunday, May 3rd from 10AM to 12PM — and coffee and donuts will be served.
The Pollinator Garden has been one of SGC’s signature projects. After years of invasive species removal and habitat reclamation at Edgemere Park, the Conservancy worked with a professional landscape architect to design a sustainable native plant garden that provides food, water, and shelter for bees, butterflies, and other vital pollinators. The garden also includes deer fencing, irrigation, and plantings installed in partnership with Sea Girt Elementary School.
This open house is a chance to see the garden up close, learn about the native plants that make it thrive, and connect with the people who’ve made it happen. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or just curious about what’s growing in your backyard borough, all are welcome.
🗓️ When: Sunday, May 3rd, 10AM–12PM
📍Where: Edgemere Park, Sea Girt, NJ
We’ll see you there.
