Something beautiful is taking shape near the town entrance, and we can’t wait for you to see it.
The Sea Girt Conservancy has hired BDL to bring the Boro-approved landscaping plan to life at Station Park. The project creates a living screen along the railroad tracks, turning the existing train mechanical shed into a lush, layered garden backdrop.
The planting design features a rich mix of native and ornamental species, including Ninebark, Eastern Red Cedar, Oakleaf Hydrangea, American Holly, Summersweet, ornamental grasses, azaleas, and perennials. Together, they’ll provide four-season beauty while naturally concealing the utility structures behind them.
Work is underway, so take a stroll by the railroad tracks near the town entrance and watch the transformation in progress. After photos coming soon!
