We’re excited to share our plans and our accomplishments with you and welcome our new board members, Majorie Mathers Kane, Neil Robinson, and Rich Della Rocca.
What we’re up to

The triangle at the town entrance on Sea Girt Avenue will be replanted this spring based on a design provided by FWH Landscaping funded by The Sea Girt Conservancy donations. SGC will also provide funding for plantings to be installed by the Department of Public Works.
The Station Park landscape design has had several revisions. Recently the Sea Girt Council, Buildings, and Grounds committee, Shade Tree Commission, and Sea Girt Conservancy walked the site and provided comments for the final revision which is being worked on by FWH Landscaping.

A plan for the perimeter of Crescent Park is also being reviewed and revised. Currently the Borough is moving forward with the Crescent Park Stewardship plan prepared by the Audubon Society of New Jersey and the Borough Council.
The Terrace, a three acre site along Wreck Pond from First Avenue to the railroad tracks, will be another focus this Spring. It’s diverse soils, topography, and wetlands offer both a challenge and an opportunity to create another beautiful place for residents to enjoy nature in Sea Girt.
Adopt a garden
The “Adopt a Garden” program invites community members to take responsibility for the maintenance and beautification of designated garden areas within Sea Girt. These gardens will provide a space for individuals to connect with nature while contributing to the overall health and aesthetics of Borough open spaces.
