The Sea Girt Conservancy (SGC) allocated emergency funding to transplant a large specimen Japanese Maple tree to Station Park.
This marks the fourth large specimen tree to be relocated within the Boro. This funding was significantly less than the cost of purchasing similar trees from a nursery. These trees were at risk of being destroyed as a result of a demolition.
