The Sea Girt Conservancy (SGC) has engaged FWH Landscape Architecture to develop a Strategic Landscape Plan aimed at enhancing the borough’s open spaces, fostering a sense of place, and beautifying key town locations. The plan emphasizes the use of native plants, which benefit the environment, require minimal maintenance, and provide year-round color.
Conservancy members have collaborated closely with the landscape architects, who have already drafted designs for two prominent sites at the town’s southern entrances: the triangle on the south side of Washington Boulevard and Station Park. Additionally, the firm is working on designs for the perimeter of Crescent Park and the north side of The Terrace. Once these preliminary plans are completed, they will be presented to the Borough Buildings and Grounds Committee for review and approval. FWH will then create detailed working plans. The SGC’s overarching mission is to assess and enhance all open spaces throughout the town.
